Sayaka Kuwahara Return-Bamboo Blade

Had a lot of fun drawing her in the rivals drawing so decided to draw her in half body style too plus lately I have been thinking about her level of skill in the anime as its kinda weird. Saya is pretty much the second weakest of her team, team tournaments are best of 5 series and Saya's typically loses so that the potagonist can be a tie breaker but she won against Konishi's team so that they could be tied. In the final tournament which is a singles one they claim she made it to round 4 so it feels they flip flop on whether or not she is skilled. I think her character is pretty funny though as she is constantly trying to find a new hobby that she gets over excited for and she writes a song for her team but the sheets of paper blow a way and she falls into a fountain trying to catch them o-o.

So um super happy with how the armor came out feel this is my best attempt at it but it is my first time drawing the waist section which helped lol. The drawing was not too difficult just was not sure where to start as I did try the neck but it was hard for me to transition into the chest armor so I started with her waist armor. Honestly not fully sure on what colour to make her hair, I feel it leans more towards rose but I do like using red for it as I think it works for my drawings. Again huge fan of her hair in a ponytail and kind of wish she had it like that outside of her wearing her kendo gear but I may add a uniform drawing of her with a ponytail to my to draw list. I have no idea what tone of purple her tunic is so I mixed purple, violet and brown and wen't with it as it kind of works =^-^=.
